Appointments: KPMG promotes seven ahead of Leeds move
Claire Needham, Rashpal Khangura and Marcus Tyldsley have been named directors in audit, while Chris Sheryn was appointed director in KPMG’s management consulting business.

Hide AdJames Lumb and Helen Roxburgh have been promoted to director in its transactions and restructuring practice and Leigh Davenport has been named director in the tax division.
The promotions come as the company prepares to move into the Sovreign Square development in 2015 following the completion of its national Innovation and Solutions Centre at Broad Gate, which has created 200 roles in the city.
Environmental charity Groundwork Leeds has recruited six staff, as the trust expands its advice services and boosts its commercial awareness work.
Hayley Doswell has been appointed fundraising manager. The Leeds trust, which servces Leeds, Bradford, Calderdale and Kirklees is the first of the UK network to add the specialist role at a regional level.

Hide AdKatrine Madsen and Tom Williams have been appointed to the Green Doctors team. Jack Hamilton has joined as lifelong learning tutor and Jamie-Lee Reed has been promoted to design and marketing assistant, following the completion of an apprenticeship with the charity.
It also appointed a new apprentice, Ollie Russchen, in the Men in Sheds team.
GVA has made a number of additions to its Yorkshire teams. Chris Jones will work alongside Dale Robinson leading the planning, development and regeneration functiones of the business.
Jared Thompson has been promoted to director to lead the property consultancy’s valuation team, which has also added Jamie Gellert as senior surveyor.

Wakefield-based Arena Group has appointed Francis Fitzpatrick as finance director.
Mr Fitzpatrick previously held a senior role at Remploy for five years and has experience of working with growing small and medium-sized businesses.
Mr Fitzpatrick will support managing director Adrian Fitzpatrick as the print and document management firm targets “organic growth and expansion through acquisition”.
