Atlantic Global confident after going back to black

SOFTWARE group Atlantic Global said today it had increased turnover by a fifth and returned to profitability.

The Cleckheaton-based group, which designs and sells business and resource management software applications, said turnover for the six months to June 30 was 20 per cent up on the same period last year.

It also said it returned to profitability compared to a 200,000 pre-tax in the same period last year.

Atlantic added: "The pipeline of new business opportunities is satisfactory and progress has been made on contracts arising from partnership opportunities."

Cash balances were 2.096m, up slightly from December 31.

Interim results will be published on 28 September and directors said they expected an improved performance in the second half.
