Augean delivers results in line with expectations
In the half year ended June 30 2011, revenue including landfill tax increased by 19 per cent to £19.4m. The company posted an adjusted profit after tax loss of £100,000 compared with a loss of £300,000 in the same period the year before.
The Wetherby-based company said it had continued to secure work from large scale remediation projects.

Hide AdCommenting on the results, Paul Blackler, the company’s chief executive, said: “Results are in line with board expectations despite very competitive market conditions.
“Although there has been a softening of the recovery seen in H2 2010 we have continued to win project work and add new customers through the sales and business development teams.”
