Beer Express cheered by growth plans

BRADFORD-based wholesaler Narang Group has bought a new distribution warehouse for its expanding Beer Express business.

The operation specialises in the supply of wines, spirits and beers to restaurants throughout the UK. The new warehouse is in Cockermouth, Cumbria.

Jas Narang, a director of Narang Group, said: "Our Beer Express business has been going from strength-to-strength and it was clear to us that we had to find a new distribution centre so we could maintain our rate of growth."

Gordons, the Leeds-based firm, advised Narang Group on the purchase. Simon Mydlowski, a lawyer, said: "Purchasing the lease on this new distribution centre will unlock more commercial opportunity for Beer Express and strengthen its offer within the marketplace.

"We are sure the business will continue to grow and we are very pleased to have played our part in its ongoing development."

The Narang Group was established more than 30 years ago and has interests in textiles, electrical and plumbing and bathrooms.
