The family-run Sheffield manufacturer, which was established in 1976, has one of the top concessions in the homewares, gifts and stationery department at Harrods. The company has invested in a make-over of its concession, which has moved with the silver room to its new location on the second floor – which is called Luxury Home 4.

Carrs Silver managing director Richard Carr said: “Harrods is a magnet for elite shoppers from all over the world. Our new concession in Luxury Home 4 means our Sheffield-made silverware will continue to be displayed alongside international brands, helping to promote the city’s reputation for excellent craftsmanship.”

Carrs Silver first opened a Harrods concession in 1995.

“We’re very proud of our connection with Harrods and the newly refurbished area is a must-see for anyone visiting this shoppers’ paradise. It’s the perfect retail platform for our luxury range,” said Mr Carr, who runs the company with his brothers Andrew and Martin.

Carrs Silver products are available in Selfridges, Liberty, Fortnum & Mason, and John Lewis in the UK, and Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Williams Sonoma Pottery Barn in the US.
