Change at Callcredit as new managing director named
York St John Business School has made two senior appointments which strengthen its practical support for businesses and public sector organisations. Alan Robinson takes up the position of deputy dean following previous positions at Henley Management College and Newport Business School, and Bob Garvey joins from Sheffield Business School as professor of business education.
Chartered accountancy firm Brown Butler has promoted Matthew Jaques to tax partner. He currently leads the Leeds-based firm’s tax advisory service after joining the company in 2010 from Baker Tilly.

Chartered accountancy firm Winburn Glass Norfolk (WGN) has appointed Pamela Beaton to the newly created position of business manager. She joins the Leeds-based firm after previously working as a business adviser at Business Link Yorkshire.
Rachel Sheppard has joined Aggregates R Us as finance manager. She joins the Doncaster-based firm after spending the last seven years working with a bathrooms specialist. She secured the position through recruitment specialist Chase and Holland’s Scunthorpe office.
Waxman Energy, which designs and distributes solar panels, has appointed Sam Waxman and Joe Pape as joint managing directors, with immediate effect. Mr Pape has been with the Elland-based group for 25 years while Mr Waxman has spearheaded Waxman Energy’s growth in recent years.
