Comedian the master of ceremonies for excellence awards

Acclaimed impressionist Jon Culshaw will be the master of ceremonies at next week’s Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Awards.

The comedian will entertain the audience of business leaders at a glittering ceremony in Leeds.

He will also introduce the event’s keynote speaker, Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg, before revealing the winners of the hotly contested awards.

The awards are now in the sixth year and have grown to become the leading celebration of business success in Yorkshire.

They regular attract heavyweight figures from the worlds of commerce and politics.

Last year’s keynote speaker was Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne while the special individual award was presented to Sir Stuart Rose, the former chairman of Marks & Spencer, who spent his formative years in Yorkshire.
