Harbour Fisheries Bridlington, in Harbour Road, was voted in fifth place. The chippy was said to be the “best in Bridlington” by one customer. One customer said: “It was the best fish I’ve tasted in years - haddock that tasted the way I remember it tasting from my childhood - I would highly recommend”. 6. The Pack Horse Inn
The Pack Horse Inn in Market Place came in sixth on the list. One customer said: "Went to the Pack horse today to celebrate my 61st birthday, good choice. We chose fish and chips which we're cooked perfectly. Served with crispy chips and the most delicious home made tartare sauce, we couldn't fault it, yummy. Another traditional chippy to make the list, in seventh place, was Gabby’s Chippy in High Street. One customer said: “A mushy pea fritter which should be awarded an MBE for services to food. Lovely meal delivered on time and hot. Gorgeous haddock and you can see our thoughts on the pea fritter - delicious. Jack's Chippy, in Bridge Street, was voted in eighth place. A customer said: “This so far best chippy in Bridlington. Me and my partner stumbled across this place and we really enjoyed our visit. We loved the decor and the staff where lovely and friendly. The food it's self was awesome. The fish was beautiful and the batter was perfect. Even the mushy peas was full of flavour!
