Demand sees Claritas take on more staff

IT system provider Claritas Solutions has created nine jobs as demand for its work increases.

The firm, based at Bowcliffe Hall in Bramham, West Yorkshire, has appointed staff in development, service delivery manager, technical support, sales support, customer services and accounts.

Brian Murray, financial director at Claritas, said: "We have strengthened our service team to ensure our growing customer base, both in Yorkshire and nationally, is fully protected and supported.

"We have increased capacity within the crucial area of development which will ensure we provide clients' solutions way ahead of the competition."

Among those joining are Stuart McIntosh, a senior developer who has worked with Nat West Bank, GE Capital and Equifax, and service delivery manager Dave Quintana, who has more than 23 years' experience in the IT industry, working as support engineer at Digital Equipment, Siemens Nixdorf, Dell, HP, Intel and Compaq

The firm recently created a dual data centre for Emerald Group Publishing, the leading independent publisher of global research, providing 24-hour security and support in a contract worth in the region of 1m over five years.

Last summer Claritas appointed Mr Murray after he held a number of financial positions with leading national and international organisations, all based in the North.
