Domus makes second buy
A York-based home care services business has made its second acquisition in three months.
The Domus Healthcare Group, which bought TLC Homecare Services (Yorkshire), based in Skelmanthorpe, Huddersfield, in November has now bought family-owned Clear Care Agency in Mytholmroyd, Hebden Bridge for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition expands the 4.5m turnover Domus Group's coverage across Yorkshire and the North West, and increases the team from 300 to 320 staff.
Managing director Andrea Jetten said the buyout formed part of the group's growth strategy.
Domus, which is based at Escrick Business Park, near York, was formed in early 2008.
