Endless sets up new base in Mayfair

ENDLESS, the Leeds-based turnaround specialist, has established its first base in the capital.

The private equity firm bought the six-storey townhouse in Mayfair from a distressed property developer.

Garry Wilson, the chairman and co-founder, will be spending four days a week at the office to be closer to banks and City advisers.

But the firm remains committed to its Yorkshire headquarters, said co-founder Darren Forshaw.

"It's important to be near your investments," he said. "While a lot of businesses that need turnaround investment are banked out of the South, they are still located across the rest of the UK."

David Newett, the property entrepreneur and original investor, found the building for Endless. The five-year-old firm also has offices in Birmingham and Manchester.
