Ex-Bupa chief is new Premier Farnell chairman

ELECTRONIC components supplier Premier Farnell today named the former chief executive of Bupa as its new chairman.

Val Gooding replaces Sir Peter Gershon who will retire at next month’s annual general meeting after seven years in post.

Private health provider Bupa trebled in size during Ms Gooding’s time at the helm.
