Fenner adds Siemens chairman to board as NED
THE chairman of Siemens will be joining Fenner as a non-executive director, it was announced today.
Alan Wood, who joined Siemens in 1981 and rose to become the long-standing chief executive of the engineering giant's UK operations, will be a non-executive director from April 1.
Colin Cooke, chairman of Fenner, said "We are delighted to welcome onto the board a highly respected engineer with a wealth of experience of running world class manufacturing businesses. Alan's appointment strengthens the independent non-executive board at Fenner."
Mr Wood will be joining the audit, nominations and remuneration committees of Fenner PLC.
