Fuse 8 produces 'robust' maiden results

DIGITAL marketing specialist Fuse 8 today delivered "robust" maiden results following its admission to the Alternative Investment Market (AIM).

In the six months ended September 30, the company recorded turnover of 2.4m, compared to 2.06m in the same period last year.

The company delivered headline operating profits of 229,000, down from 384,000 recorded in the six month period the year before.

Fuse 8, formerly known as Award International, moved to the AIM market in July from the PLUS market.

The Leeds-based company, which announced it was moving to AIM earlier this year, is a full service digital marketing specialist with operations in Russia.

It offers a wide range of services, from online marketing to Search Engine Optimisation. It helps clients to market and build their brands.

Recent new business wins have included Adidas, Asda and Soreen.

Nigel Hunter, the chief executive, said: "We believe that AIM will be a great platform for us to achieve the company's growth plans and, with this in mind, I am very pleased to be able to report such robust maiden results.
