Gasket maker creates jobs with investment in growth

INDUSTRIAL gasket specialist Klinger UK has announced a £2m investment programme to meet increasing demand at home and overseas.

The investment, in new precision cutting technology and testing facilities at the firm's manufacturing centre in Bradford and branch network, will create 10 new engineering, technical support and customer service jobs.

It hopes that the investment will further cement the company's market position in sealing technology.

"We're aiming to achieve 10 per cent growth this year, with exports playing a major role, particularly from the Middle East and Africa."

Klinger's investment includes the installation of the latest product testing facilities at Klinger's Bradford plant, on the Euroway Industrial Estate, which will also become a training centre for the company, its clients and distributors.

The Klinger Group develops, manufactures and distributes sealing products in a number of industries including aerospace and defence as well as companies in oil and gas production, and power generation.
