G&H to relocate as firms grow 70pc in two years

The business, which comprises of building services, sustainability, fabrication and maintenance companies, is close to completing the redevelopment of a site at Firlands Mill in Pudsey.

In addition to housing its head office, the location will also include a fabrication welding unit and a range of staff facilities.

Graham Kelly, managing director of G&H Group, said: “The mill has stood derelict for many years but we are bringing it back to life, transforming it from a blot on the landscape into a building that is attractive, clean, tidy, safe, secure and environmentally-friendly.

“It is the next chapter in our 14-year history and due to the rapid growth we have enjoyed in recent years, we need larger, tailor-made premises.

“G&H Building Services which provides mechanical and electrical solutions has gone from strength-to-strength while G&H Sustainability has exceeded our expectations, turning over £2m last year despite still being in its infancy.”

The company, which is currently based in Bramley, saw turnover rise to £18.47m in 2014, compared to £14.13m in 2013 and £10.81m in 2012.

Its workforce has grown almost four-fold since 2010 to 82 staff and the business continues to invest in people through training and support, Mr Kelly said.

The businesses’ key clients include Harris, Mitie, Sir Robert McAlpine and Sewell. The firm has also worked on projects for Rolls-Royce, Asda, Morrisons, 10 Trinity Square, Battersea Power Station and Siemens.
