Gordons in launch of pension unit

LAW firm Gordons is launching a pensions unit with the recruitment of the head of Eversheds’ Leeds pension team and three of her colleagues.

Terry Saeedi has joined £25.3m turnover firm Gordons along with senior associate Matthew Ambler, associate Craig Looker and pensions professional support lawyer Ruth Bamforth.

Ms Saeedi said: “We are all hugely excited by the prospect of establishing a pensions unit at Gordons. We have seen the firm continue its ascendancy over a number of years, so when the opportunity presented itself to join such a dynamic business it was a straightforward decision to make.

“The pensions unit will offer a further important service to the firm’s existing impressive corporate client portfolio. We will also be building a standalone pensions practice in line with Gordons’ growth strategy.”

Gordons has offices in Leeds, Bradford and London.
