Halliwells' team moves to rivals
LAW firm Beachcroft yesterday announced that it was taking on a team of healthcare and clinical risk lawyers from rival Halliwells inManchester and Sheffield.
As a result, six of Halliwells' legal team in Sheffield will leave to join Beachcroft. Before Christmas, it was revealed that eight Sheffield-based Halliwells partners, including managing partner Suzanne
Liversidge, were leaving to join legal insurance firm Kennedys. It is estimated that around 40 staff will be leaving Halliwells to go to Kennedys.
Yesterday a Halliwells spokesman said that it had a "strong healthcare practice" and the firm was recruiting replacements for the lawyers who were leaving the healthcare team to join Beachcroft.
