Harrogate-based Christmas fair issues call to work with local independent businesses and artisans

The Harrogate-based Country Living Christmas Fair has issued a call for independent businesses and artisans across Yorkshire to exhibit at the annual event.

The fair, which runs across four days from 30 November to 3 December at the Harrogate Convention Centre, has been hosted in the spa town for over a decade.

It regularly attracts 15,000 visitors across the four days, with a focus on unique gifts, food and drink, and home décor.

Fay Rayner, event director, said: “It’s an opportunity for exhibitors to showcase their products to thousands of affluent visitors eager to have a unique shopping experience. This year, we would love to welcome artisan and independent makers and producers from across Yorkshire and beyond.

“Country Living is all about the creators, the designers, and makers, from lifestyle businesses built on kitchen tables to well-known brands. We’re proud to champion independent producers.

“Yorkshire is famed for its produce and brands built on a strong sense of place, so we’re keen to showcase them in Harrogate this year.”

The 2023 Fair has already attracted dozens of artisans and independent businesses.

Some of the new exhibitors announced include unique wall art from StavesArt, founded by architecture student Ben Staves and The Wanda Coyne Collection. Returning brands include Isle of Barra Distillers and Yorkshire’s Charlie & Ivy’s.
