Hi-tech unit comes into being
A hi-tecH production unit has been formed in North Yorkshire.
Electronics manufacturer Contract Production has bought the assets of Micro Forge. Both firms are based in Pickering.
Contract said it retained most of the technical staff of Micro Forge and would continue to make printed circuit assemblies.
The company will specialise in low and medium-sized production runs, giving customers technical and design assistance at the prototype and pre-production stage.
