Holiday park bought in £4m deal

The South Shore Holiday Park in Bridlington, which went into administration in October, has been sold to an un-named property company for around £4m.

The 16.7 acre site was sold by Colliers CRE on behalf of the administrators, BDO. The park includes 244 chalets and a beachfront complex.

Richard Moss, associate director of recreational property at Colliers CRE, said: "South Shore Holiday Park is a good investment as it has an established annual ground rent income and the planning permissions already in place means it has a great deal of potential.

"The park already has a lot of facilities catering for all ages. With plans already progressing for the north's second largest marina in Bridlington, it is hoped the area will continue to attract more visitors."
