Inditherm returns to the black
The Rotherham-based company reported a modest pre-tax profit of £4,000 after a £73,000 loss last year. Half year revenues increased by 23 per cent to £1m.
The group said its performance had improved significantly, with revenue growth restored. It also reported a healthy increase in orders from the NHS in 2013.

Hide AdMark Abrahams, Inditherm’s chairman, said yesterday: “We believe that the business has made considerable progress following the difficult market conditions over the last four years, and our strategic shift to being fully focused as a medical business.
“We do not expect the uncertainties associated with the markets in which our medical business operates to disappear, so we anticipate ongoing uneven order flow.
“Against this challenging backdrop we expect to continue our revenue growth but, to fuel this, we will be investing in additional targeted resource which will slow the rate of translation into profit.”
The company’s export business has grown this year. Inditherm is responding to this by allocating more resources in support of its distribution network.
