Interior Services winning the deals

Construction management firm Interior Services Group said it has won contracts worth £120m since November.

Interior Services, which provides refurbishment, new-build and fit-out services, also said it was the preferred bidder on three other schemes worth 90m.

The new contracts include 80m in projects for Railtrack in Yorkshire, Imperial College and British Land in London, Dudley College in the Midlands and BAE in the North West.

The company has also secured 40m worth of work in Scotland.

Interior Services, which reported revenues of 972m for the year to June 30, is seeing a recovery in spending by its private sector customers, which account for about 70 per cent of its revenues.

Shares in the group, whose customers include Google and Exxon Mobil, rose five per cent higher last night to close at 198p.

David Lawther, Interior Services' chief executive, said: "We are delighted to announce these contract awards in our UK construction business across our network of offices."
