Ireland’s new recruits strengthen city office
The stockbroking firm said Andrew Kitchingman has joined as corporate finance director from Arbuthnot Securities. Tim Feather will also join soon as corporate finance director, and both will be based in Leeds.
Analyst Paul Smith will also join the Alternative Investment Market-listed group’s Leeds office.

Hide AdAnalyst Nick Spoliar has joined from Abuthnot and Angus McPhail arrived from Investec. Both are based in the firm’s London office.
Chief executive Paul Compton said: “We are delighted to welcome these key hires to WH Ireland. All three individuals are extremely well regarded in their respective fields and will provide us with the infrastructure we require to improve on the 20 wins we made last year.
“All of our recent hires will help us offer greater levels of support and service to current and prospective clients.

Hide AdThe firm now has an eight-strong presence in Leeds. It advises Bradford-based mobile computing group Belgravium Technologies and also advised Cosalt chairman David Ross on his recent offer for the Grimbsy-based offshore services company.
Mr Compton said the new recruits add to its recent hires of Adrian Hadden, Jasper Berry, Raymond Greaves and John Cummins, and following seven new clients won this year.
It serves firms in the sub-£200m sector, and has more than 50 AIM clients.
