ITM Power gets the go ahead to sell product in Germany
CLEAN fuel company ITM Power has won approval to sell its HFuel hydrogen-generating device in Germany.
The Sheffield-based firm’s HFuel product can supply around 4kg of hydrogen per day.
Graham Cooley, chief executive of ITM Power, said in a statement: “To be able to operate HFuel in Germany is a key step for the company in commercialising its technology in the leading market for hydrogen infrastructure globally. Successful completion of this rigorous process is a credit to the team and demonstrates the ability of ITM Power to execute refueling projects in Germany.”
ITM Power develops equipment that passes an electric current through water to generate hydrogen, which can then be used to fuel cars, generators and other equipment.
