Jamie's Leeds restaurant home bought for £2.8m

THE home of Jamie Oliver's new Yorkshire restaurant has been bought in a deal worth £2.8m.

The Grade II listed building in Leeds, which houses Jamie's Italian, was bought by the BHM Group from Ethel Austin Investment Properties.

The building, on Park Row, in the city centre, comprises 8,688 sq ft over basement, ground, first and second floors with restaurant Jamie's Italian occupying the lower floors and John Delancey and Co Solicitors occupying the second floor.

BNP Paribas Real Estate acted in conjunction with Mason Owen on behalf of Ethel Austin Investment Properties, while BHM Group was represented by Teacher Marks.

Philip Whiting, at BNP Paribas Real Estate, said: "Private investors are keen to acquire these types of unique properties and we were able to achieve a good price for our client."
