Launch of group to help small firms

The Leeds-based organisation, ipconnect, which is due to launch on Thursday at Leeds Metropolitan University, will work in collaboration with the team behind a similar proposition, Unique Synergy, which was founded in 2008.

Membership is restricted to 300 and is aimed at sectors including legal, HR, construction, professional and the arts.

Members become part of a business community, working together to win work. The organisation has connections to a number of systems such as online tendering platforms, social networking sites and training academies – all incorporated to fuel business opportunities.
