Majority of SMEs positive about 2015

three out of five small business owners in Yorkshire are confident about their prospects for 2015.

However, in a poll of UK small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), 21 per cent said they expect business to decline next year.

The Liberis-commissioned research found 45 per cent of small businesses expect to grow next year, while 34 per cent predicted turnover would stay the same.

One in five owners said they would seek funding, with only 49 per cent expected to head to the bank. A fifth (22 per cent) will use savings, while 18 per cent will use alternative finance providers.
