Managers buy stake in business

Led by Ian Anderson, chief executive and Bruce Allen, finance director, the senior management team of Stafforce Recruitment now owns 15 per cent of the share holding of the business.

Stafforce has 11 high street branches around the country, including one in South Wales.

Stafforce also works on-site with a number of Yorkshire employers, including Sparks Confectioners, Braiform, Stelrad Ideal and Garnett Dickinson.

Mr Allen said: "The business has been working towards this partial management buyout for a couple of years now and the move supports our plans for growth and the strategic development of Stafforce".

Mr Cragg, the company's chairman, said: "Today Stafforce is a national recruitment agency but as a business we continue to always try to make a difference to our local communities and find jobs for local people.

"There are exciting plans for the future and I look forward to being a part of them."

Stafforce Recruitment is a privately-owned business that works with more than 500 employers in England.

Stafforce supplies more than 2,500 temporary staff per week and 1,500 permanent candidates per year and clients include Golden Wonder, the Port of Liverpool and the University of Lincoln. Mr Cragg is a board member of the Rotherham Partnership. He is also chairman of Rotherham Titans Rugby Club and chairman of the Trustees of the Titans' Community Foundation.
