More Support for SMEs as franchise opens

THE PC Support Group, whose services are aimed at the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) market, has opened a new franchise in Leeds.

Leeds is office number 14 for the IT support group, which started six years ago and has an overall turnover of around £1m. The business also has franchises in York and Harrogate, with its head office in Liverpool. Around 25 people are employed across the group, which specialises in providing 24/7 systems monitoring for SMEs.

MD Phil Bird said: “We set the company up to give small businesses the advantages larger companies have enjoyed from an IT perspective. Our customers enjoy a new level of reliability which allows them to compete and grow.”

David Tyrrell, who has more than 14 years’ experience of looking after IT in strategic, technical and project management roles, is the regional director for the Leeds office.
