NG Bailey’s expansion to new site could see more jobs created

Building services firm NG Bailey has expanded into new premises in a move that could boost employment.

The firm’s offsite manufacture division has expanded on to a site on Fieldhead Lane in Drighlington, West Yorkshire.

The division, which serves clients including Network Rail, Land Securities and the NHS, also has a site just off the M606 near Bradford. The building, which is located off the A650 Drighlington bypass, close to junction 27 of the M62/M621, includes industrial and warehouse space, as well as offices.

It is nearly 40,000 sq ft on a total site of 1.71 acres. The building was previously occupied by InterCity Services.

Steve Parr, supply chain and transformation director at NG Bailey, said: “We decided on the new Drighlington site as it represents an extension of our main offsite facility, which is based just off the M606.

“NG Bailey’s offsite manufacture division creates both off-the-shelf and bespoke solutions for clients including Network Rail, Land Securities and the NHS.

“This approach to construction can help reduce the overall cost of a construction project, which is why the investment in this facility is key to our growth in this area.”

Eddisons acted on behalf of long-standing client, Wharfedale Finance.
