What was your first job?

I used to be a machinist in a sewing factory making curtains and cushion covers.

If you weren’t in your current position, what would you be doing?

Probably work from home doing the same kind of work or go back to the pub trade and run a small local pub.

What was your worst mistake?

Going into a sales job.

What’s you ideal day away from the office?

Taking a walk through Bakewell or Castleton in Derbyshire.

Name one person you would like to have dinner with and why?

Alan Sugar, because he is my daughter’s idol and she would have a list of questions for me to ask him.

What was your best subject at school?

Art, I loved sketching.

What are your hobbies?

Making costume jewellery.

What would you do if you won the Lottery?

Buy a house in the Derbyshire countryside and a holiday home in Cyprus.

What’s your favourite item of clothing?

My dressing gown

What’s your favourite time of day?

9pm, as I’m usually settled in front of the TV relaxing by that time.

What’s the best thing about Yorkshire?

The countryside.

What would you like your epitaph to be?

Don’t touch my stuff while I’m gone.
