One giant delivery

THIS giant packing case has left Yorkshire on a very slow and winding road to a Suffolk port, from which it will be shipped to Korea. The 66-tonne box, containing a high volume pump for a major Russian project, will travel on a special route to Felixstowe at an average speed of 15mph, taking one-and-a-half days.

It was packed by Neal Brothers, an export packing firm specialising in high value, fragile and very large items, which has a branch in Meltham, near Huddersfield. The overall height of the loaded trail will be 16ft 3in, leaving a clearance of just 2in on some motorway bridges, and it will be accompanied by police and convoy vehicles.
