Online bathroom firm ‘on the market’
It is understood that the Hull-based firm is working with advisers from KPMG on a proposed sale of the company.
According to a national newspaper, the retailer could change hands for more than £150m.

Hide AdVictoria Plumb, which employs more than 70 staff, was launched in 2001 by brothers Sean and Jason Walker.
The Walker family is well known for buying the flat pack furniture brand MFI after it went into administration. It later re-launched the brand as an online retailer.
According to its latest accounts filed at Companies House, Victoria Plumb posted sales of £26.2m in the year to February 2013, up from £19m the previous year, and achieved pre-tax profits of £6m compared to £4.8m the year before.
The business is expected to attract interest from other DIY retailers and builders’ merchants as well as private equity investors.
