Quiz to permanently close 15 stores

It told investors that 48 of the 75 stores it operated prior to the pandemic have reopened, with it expecting to increase this to 60 sites in total.

The company also said that revenues plunged by 77 per cent to £13m for the five months to August 31 after it was hammered by the coronavirus lockdown.

Quiz said: "During the period, the group has extended its casual ranges to respond to the additional demand for this product.

"This is in response to the decline in demand for occasion wear further to the ongoing restrictions on social events."
