RBS funding £6.5m health enterprise

A COMMUNITY health centre is being built in West Yorkshire, with backing from the Royal Bank of Scotland.

The project, led by Community Ventures South Kirkby, involves the construction of a modern primary care centre in South Kirk-by.

The development, which will cost £6.5m, is being funded by RBS Healthcare. The centre, which is due to open in April 2013, will deliver a range of community-based services including a dental surgery, and a shop along with car parking facilities.

It will also become home to two GP practices.
