School and estate mark Grand Départ

A North Yorkshire rural estate containing offices and holiday homes has joined forces with a school to mark Yorkshire’s Grand Départ for the Tour de France next summer.

Escrick Park Estate and Queen Margaret’s School, which is based at Escrick Park, will provide accommodation and organise events for the occasion.

Escrick Park is to welcome caravans, mobile homes and tents on to the estate, with 200 motor homes already booked in for the weekend. Queen Margaret’s is to open up all the school’s facilities, including dormitories and cottages, from July 4 to July 7.
