Shed Seven drummer Alan Leach, who co-founded quiz tech company SpeedQuizzing, hosted the quiz.
Each player was competing to win the £300 prize money, which is being donated to the winner’s chosen charity.
Mr Leach said: “During the lockdown I am hosting daily free public quizzes twice a day, one for families to play and also a dedicated music quiz, but I thought it would be nice for music fans to see some familiar faces going head-to-head. I contacted a few mates ‘in the biz’, some of whom have played SpeedQuizzing before, and they were all happy to get involved.

“As well as giving everyone an opportunity to catch up and have a bit of a laugh, it was done with good causes in mind and we hope that it brings some much-needed relief, entertainment and laughter to those people who do decide to tune in and test themselves at home.”
The quiz will be available to watch at 9pm tonight at SpeedQuizzing.com.
