Anything creative, designing and developing. I’m a great believer you can do anything you put your mind to.

What was your worst mistake?

Not listening to my gut instinct and giving too many chances.

What’s your ideal day away from the office?

Waking up early, walking the dog close to where we live in the Peak District, cooking a Sunday roast and sharing that with my friends. Then on to a local pub for the evening.

Name one person you would like to have dinner with and why.

My father who passed away. I miss him terribly every day.

What was your best subject at school?

Art and business studies.

Painting, music, concerts, reading, languages and walking our boisterous chocolate labrador.

What would you do if you won the Lotto?

I suffer from arthritis so would plough the money into further research to ease the pain for other sufferers.

What’s your top time-saving tip?

Be organised. Some people can waste so much time trying to remember what they are supposed to be remembering.

What’s your favourite item of clothing?

A long chenille cardigan. I have had for years. If I was a child, it would be known as my blanket.

What’s your favourite time of day?

Early in the morning while everyone is asleep.

What’s the best thing about Yorkshire?

I love the people, the food, the unspoiled countryside.

What would you like your epitaph to be?

Wow, that was one hell of a ride. Are you sure you’re ready for me?
