Stickyeyes opens London office as client base grows

DIGITAL marketing agency Stickyeyes, which is based in Leeds, has opened a new office in London as part of its brand expansion programme.

Craig Chalmers, chief executive and majority shareholder in Stickyeyes, said: “Our new London office is just the beginning of our brand expansion programme, which will see further openings across the UK and internationally over the next 24 months, and will play a major role in helping us to continue servicing our growing international client base.” The London office will be a base for both business development and client services.

Stickeyes employs 92 people, the majority of which are based at its Leeds office. The company also now has representation in Scotland. “London and Scotland were both opportunistic moves for us. We’ve got a lot of clients down South obviously and we also know there’s a lot of business up in Scotland”, said Glen Conybeare, chief commercial officer. But he said Leeds will always be the base of the company as it can “attract some great talent” in the region.

Last financial year, Stickyeyes recorded around £13m in revenues, but Mr Conybeare said it was on target to achieve around £19m this financial year. The agency said it had recorded 200 per cent growth in new business revenues quarter on quarter for the financial year, having closed £2m in new business from a number of major new client wins.

Mr Conybeare said the Leeds office is continually growing, while he expects another three or four people will be employed at the London office by the end of the year, adding to its two-strong headcount. Anyone who has been with Stickyeyes more than 12 months becomes a shareholder in the business, he said.
