Straight chosen as a supplier in £60m YPO framework agreement

RECYCLING products group Straight has said that it is one of six suppliers to have secured a new deal worth up to £60m with local authority purchasing organisation YPO.

Leeds-based wheelie bin and kerbside box-maker Straight said that the new four-year framework agreement with Wakefield-based YPO is to supply a range of plastic wheeled bins from 140 to 1100 litre capacity.

The new contract is estimated to be worth between £30m and £60m across a total of six suppliers on the framework. It replaces a previous framework agreement for wheeled bins which has now expired.
