PROPERTY investment and development company Town Centre Securities has signed its first new tenant for the New Front leisure scheme at the Merrion Centre in Leeds.

Yorkshire-based gym operator Pure Gym will build its second gym in Leeds city centre on Merrion Way, next to the Leeds Arena. Together with the largest unit, already let to existing tenant 1st Bowl, 64 per cent of the available retail space has been secured. There are eight new units remaining.

Helen Beckett, associate director for Leeds-based Town Centre Securities, said: “New Front is in a fantastic location, right next to Leeds Arena in a busy part of Leeds city centre, which is popular with shoppers, students and office workers.
