Dr Short, president of The Institute of Engineering and Technology, will discuss how mobile and internet present opportunities for innovation and investment but also change the way we all operate.

Mr Strafford, a board member of the Sheffield City Region Local Enterprise Partnership, will talk about how data centres and next-generation science parks can boost regional economies.
