Three new faces appointed to the board at Nisa

RETAIL group Nisa yesterday revealed that it had added three new member directors to its board to help it grow.

Eight candidates were nominated for election at Scunthorpe-based Nisa’s AGM for the three member places. Following the meeting, Raza Rehman, Sanjeev Vadhera and Saqib Ghafoor were appointed to fill these positions. This year, Christopher Baker, Peter Hartley, Gillian Wilmot, Amanda Jones, Nisa’s chief operating officer, and Simon Webster, Nisa’s finance director, were all required to retire by rotation. They were all reappointed to their position on the board.

Mr Baker said: “We were impressed with the high quality of candidates that were nominated for the member director vacancies on the board and I am very pleased to welcome Raza, Sanjeev and Saqib to their new positions. The company is at a pivotal stage of its development into a retail focused organisation and these directors will be influential in the future strategy of the business.”
