Yorkshire-bornindustrialist dies
Sir Trevor Holdsworth, the Bradford-born industrialist and accomplished pianist, has died, his family announced yesterday.
Sir Trevor, who was 83, was the former chairman of National Power, manufacturer GKN and Bradford-based Allied Colloids international chemical business.
Knighted in 1982, he served as Chancellor at Bradford University from 1992 to 1997.
He died at home in Wimborne, Dorset.
