Yorkshire communications provider Mobile Tornado to supply Leeds Bradford Airport workers in major contract win

Harrogate-based mobile solutions provider Mobile Tornado will equip Leeds Bradford Airport workers with its “world-leading” instant communications technology, it has been announced.

LBA’s contract is initially for 200 user licences and will involve the use of Mobile Tornado’s push-to-talk over cellular (PTToC) solutions to provide instant communications with individuals and groups to improve safety, efficiency and productivity in complex daily operations.

The contract was won by Storm, a key reseller of Mobile Tornado technologies.

LBA is understood to be one of the first airports in Europe to upgrade its radio system to a PTToC platform.
