Yorkshire’s Virginia Clegg appointed senior partner at DAC Beachcroft

LEEDS LAWYER Virginia Clegg has been named senior partner at national law firm DAC Beachcroft in a coup for the region’s legal sector.

The firm has 2,200 staff and coverage across the UK, Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific, generating revenues of £200m last year.

DAC Beachcroft said Ms Clegg, a senior real estate partner, has played a vital role in leading national teams for some of the firm’s biggest clients and has a deep understanding of its business operations, inspiring and developing teams to deliver the firm’s strategic goals.

She takes over from Simon Hodson, while London-based David Pollitt will be the firm’s new managing partner, replacing Paul Murray.

Both new appointments will take effect from November.
