It said it products for automated creation of DVD titles have been licensed to CBS Home Entertainment. The American firm manages the worldwide DVD and Blu-ray businesses for CBS Corporation across all lines, ranging from contemporary hits like NCIS, Dexter and 90210 to classic series.

The firm will use Zoo's products to design and produce certain DVD titles in-house at its facility in Television City, rather than outsource to traditional service providers.

Zoo's workflow automation systems mean video titles can be created quickly without requiring specialist knowledge.

Stuart Green, chief executive of Zoo, said: "This agreement further cements our position in the entertainment industry through a relationship with a leading provider of television content on DVD, demonstrating the significant benefits that our solutions bring."

Zoo designs, sells and licenses software to help film studios cut costs by speeding up production of discs and packaging.

Its software has already been used to create marketing material and audio-visual content for Hollywood blockbusters such as Enchanted.
