Move south brings promotion to top position

A LEADING independent school has announced the appointment of a new headmaster who will take up his post in September.

Richard Notman will take over at Cundall Manor School, which is situated on a 50-acre site between Ripon and Thirsk, after the school’s current head Peter Phillips leaves in July.

Mr Notman is joining the North Yorkshire school from Longridge Towers School in Northumberland where he is deputy head.
