Move south brings promotion to top position

Richard Notman will take over at Cundall Manor School, which is situated on a 50-acre site between Ripon and Thirsk, after the school’s current head Peter Phillips leaves in July.

Mr Notman is joining the North Yorkshire school from Longridge Towers School in Northumberland where he is deputy head.

Sir Thomas Ingilby, chairman of Cundall’s board of governors said: “In Richard we have found an exceptional candidate – he has superb teaching skills across all age groups which is ideal for our pre-prep, main and upper schools plus a real focus on extra-curricular activities, for which Cundall has built its reputation.”
