Coronavirus death toll in Yorkshire rises by three

The death toll from coronavirus in Yorkshire has risen by three, new figures revealed.

It has been more than seven days since a death at Leeds hospitals, according to latest figures released by Public Health England.

A death at Leeds hospital has not been recorded in daily updates since Sunday June 28.

The death toll in the city from coronavirus remains at 333 as of July 6.

However across Yorkshire, three new deaths were announced.

There have now been 2,848 deaths in the county.

The new coronavirus deaths were recorded in the following trusts:

BARNSLEY HOSPITAL NHS FOUNDATION TRUST: 1

BRADFORD TEACHING HOSPITALS NHS FOUNDATION TRUST: 1

MID YORKSHIRE HOSPITALS NHS TRUST: 1
